Triple shooting jolts peace-loving Kensington

Triple shooting jolts peace-loving Kensington: Dan Robson, The Toronto star

Six cracks of gunfire woke Jon McCurley from his bed early Sunday morning. From his window above La Rosa’s Bakery in Kensington market, he saw three men stumble out of the alley next to him, bleeding and calling for help. One was shot in the arm, another in the leg. The third, shot in the stomach, crawled on the pavement. When the police tape came down hundreds of people strolled through the market on streets reserved for pedestrians for the first time this year. Most were oblivious to the red stain in front of La Rosa’s Bakery. All three victims are expected to recover from their injuries. Police are searching for three suspects, and asking for more witnesses to come forward.

I remember my first (and only) time going to Kensington Market and thoughts of ghettos, drug deals, and shootings came to mind. Even though I'm a country boy, I still dont mind the city, but Kengsington Market wasnt a place i felt was safe or counfortable. I feel terrible for the victoms and hope they recover. I dont see why there are so many shootings is Toronto now a days, i just dont get it.

Olympic marathon champ Wanjiru dies after balcony fall

Olympic marathon champ Wanjiru dies after balcony fall: Tom Odula, The Toronto star

Kenyan Olympic marathon champion Sammy Wanjiru died in a fall from a balcony after a domestic dispute involving his wife and another woman, police said Monday. One police official said Wanjiru committed suicide, while another said he jumped to stop his wife from leaving the house after she discovered him with another woman. The 24-year-old runner died late Sunday after jumping from a balcony at his home in the town of Nyahururu, in the Rift Valley, said John Mbijiwe, the police chief in Kenya's Central Province. At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Wanjiru became the first Kenyan to win a gold medal in the marathon, finishing in an Olympic-record two hours six minutes 32 seconds.

I don't see any reason why he would commit suicide, but reading the article more, you can see that many people believe that he did commit suicide. They probably have their reasons and defiantly know more on the subject than me. I feel terrible weather is was suicide or not because a great athlete has gone way too early. He will be greatly missed and I feel terrible about the whole situation

Richmond Hill student, 16, discovers new hope for cystic fibrosis treatment

Richmond Hill student, 16, discovers new hope for cystic fibrosis treatment: Amanda Kwan, The toronto star

Marshall Zhang had dreamed of one day working in the field of science, but after discovering a new combination of drugs that could possibly be used to as a treatment for cystic fibrosis, the 16-year-old Richmond Hill student says he has gained a new perspective of the field. “Until recently, I’ve known the disease from a scientific point of view,” said Zhang, a Grade 11 student at Bayview Secondary School. “But knowing the facts is not the same as talking to people with diseases.” Cystic fibrosis is a debilitating and potentially fatal condition that causes thick mucus to build up in the lungs, making it difficult to breathe. The discovery lead him to first place at the 2011 Sanofi-Aventis BioTalent Challenge, a competition where student compete with the help of a mentor.

I feel this is an amazing discovery, especially due to the fact that it is so close to home. If this discovery was made by some guy in China who had been working on the project for months, but it's just a kid! I feel this is amazing and he has a great future ahead of him. Hopefully this discovery will help those with cystic fibrosis and maybe will lead others to better and bigger things for the condition.

'His innocence will be established,' Strauss-Kahn's wife says

'His innocence will be established,' Strauss-Kahn's wife says: Coleen Long, The toronto star

62 year old IMF Chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn was charged Sunday with attempting to rape a New York hotel maid, in a scandal that upends his plans to run for president of France and throws leadership of the global lender into turmoil at the height of the European debt crisis. A hotel maid, 32, alleged Strauss-Kahn sexually assaulted her in his $3,000-a-night suite at the luxury Sofitel near Times Square on Saturday, police spokesman Paul Browne said. The IMF chief was charged with a criminal sexual act, unlawful imprisonment and attempted rape. His lawyer Benjamin Brafman said he will plead not guilty. IMF spokesman William Murray said John Lipsky, the IMF's first deputy managing director, would lead the organization in an acting capacity in Strauss-Kahn's absence.

I am not going to say if I think he did or didn't do it, but how stupid do you have to be to try and rape a maid when you're trying to become the president of France? As well if someone is paying $3,000 a night, I'm sure he can afford an escort it he was really feeling lonely. As well, he pled guilty, maybe because he knows he's innocent, maybe because he knows how good a lawyer he has? What do you think?

Slave Lake evacuated as wildfire rages in Alberta

Slave Lake evacuated as wildfire rages in Alberta: Rob Drinkwater, the toronto star

Sunday evening thousands of Slave Lake residents were fleeing there homes as strong winds spread an out of control wildfire into the town. As hundreds of buildings were destroyed the town advised all residents to leave, it was a general evacuation. Staff-Sergeant Mike Proctor of Slave Lake RCMP said later “probably 30 per cent of the structures” had been destroyed by the fire. Doris Stapleton of the RCMP stated there's been no lose of life or injuries they're aware of. All of the highways leading out were closed and two of the main roads were as well closed, but one road, the one leading to Athabasca was open and residents were advised to use it. When the fire hit the town it was nine square kilometers in size and planes couldn't fly over do to the thick smoke the fire was producing. Because of the difficulty to put it out, 200 firefighters from B.C. and Ontario are coming to help.

I think, Obviously, This is terrible and I feel terrible for the residents of Slave Lake, but more importantly i feel proud of the people helping out. Most fire out west, especially wildfires are put out by planes dropping water on them, but since no planes can fly over, it is especially difficult to put it out. As well the firefighters coming from other provinces to help out, I feel are very brave and dedicated.

History still in the making 10 years after 9/11: Michelle Shepard, the toronto star

Sam Cannizzaro, father of Brian Cannizzaro, isn’t doing very well generally since losing his 30-year-old son. Brian, who followed in his footsteps and became a firefighter. Brian was one of 343 men the NYPD Fire Department lost on Sept. 11, 2001. Sam Cannizzaro is one of the many Americans who's emotions have been running high since the US navy seals killed Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in a compound near Pakistan's capital. With the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks coming this September, this news will change the way it is celebrated. According to various polls, the president’s approval rating jumped as much as 10 per cent this week. Those firefighters lucky enough to be on duty Thursday spent nearly an hour having lunch with Obama and said he was very down to earth. But the death of the Al Qaeda’s leader and Obama’s visit did not bring Cannizzaro relief or change his mind about much. “I hate that word closure. What does it mean?” he asked. “I think about Brian every single minute of every day and always will."

I think that on the tenth anniversary that nothing will really be different because although bin Laden is dead, that isn't what everyone wanted and it doesn't fix the fact of how many people died that day, especially those that gave their life helping others. I feel Sam Cannizzaro has very good point that bin Laden's Killing does nothing for him, maybe it might ease others, but for him and others who lost someone close on September 11, 2001, it does nothing. I feel this won't change much in the afghan war as it was only a matter of time until something like this happened, what with the recent awareness of security. Do you think this will change anything to do with the current war?

Ontario law means dentists who treat their spouses are guilty of sex abuse

Ontario law means dentists who treat their spouses are guilty of sex abuse: Theresa Boyle, the Toronto star

An Ontario law states that dentists who treat their spouse cannot have sex. This is the current law of the land in Ontario, one that many dentists are secretly flouting and call in "stupid." Dentist Larry Pedlar, who hast been treating him wife for 50 years at his Burlington office, learned if he were to continue this, he would loose his license for 5 years. He is 72 years old. Even though this law has tremendous consequences, many still continue to treat their spouses, but just keep it quiet. Ontario health minister, Deb Matthews says, "Whatever changes the province may make, protection of patients form sexual abuse by health professionals will continue to be the top priority."

I, like many others, think this law is ridiculous, and has no explanation of why it is a law. As well, the point that IF spouses are have sex, they cannot treat each other is just plain stupid. The only spouses who aren't having sex is severely old people, extremely religions people, or if a couple is separated, but not divorced. I think there is a simply way to fix this, without taking away the comfort of these sex abuse laws for other patients.

Brampton man killed while trying to stop a robbery

Brampton man killed while trying to stop a robbery, Gloria Er-Chua, the Toronto star

Kearn Nedd was always known as a great guy and he was acting completely in character when he stepped in to try to stop a robbery. The 28-year-old Brampton resident was fatally shot in the chest Saturday afternoon as he tried to help someone who was being attacked, Peel police said. “He was trying to be a good citizen and do what’s right. He was always the type of guy that would help somebody in need. He wasn’t the type of guy that would just walk away,” Nenad Cvejic said. The banquet hall was hosting an event that involved gambling and two suspects allegedly tried to rob one of the winners, sources said. Nedd stepped in to stop the robbery, but was shot, sources added.

i think this is a great, yet terrible story. I feel terrible for Nedd and obviously he was a great guy who was loved by many. At the same time, a man stepped in to stop a robbery, and gave the ultimate sacrifice for someone he didn't even know. Doing what you feel is right and paying the consequences is a truly courageous and honourable act to do. What a noble and Good hearted man he must have been.

Justice served by Barry Bonds verdict

Justice served by Barry Bonds verdict: Cathal Kelly, toronto star

Perhaps the least celebrated of type of sports hero is “the guy who got away with it” — whether “it” is a garden-variety cheat or a federal racketeering charge. Barry Bonds was so close to being that guy. Instead, a deeply divided California jury could find agreement on one point Wednesday — that Bonds was criminally evasive in his testimony to a grand jury on the subject of whether he knowingly took steroids. He was found guilty of one count of obstructing justice, a felony count that carries a maximum penalty of 10 years. Based on previous convictions in the BALCO case, Bonds is unlikely to see the inside of a prison cell. Nobody watching baseball over the past 15 years can seriously doubt that Bonds was on something — either that, or suffering from late-stage elephantitis of the chest, neck and jaw.

I would like to start by saying if an athlete has been found guilty by using performance enhancers, I believe all of his personal records and achievement should be stripped of these things. I remember watching Bonds' all time record for number of Home runs, passing Hank Aaron. Now that we are certain Bonds was using performance enhancers during this stretch, it should be taken away. As well i feel terrible for Hank Aaron.

Major law firms fall victim to cyber attacks

Major law firms fall victim to cyber attacks, Jeff Gray, the globe and mail

In the past seven months, computer hackers have penetrated four major bay street law firms. Their goal was to use these highly sophisticated attacks to gather or destroy sensitive data relating to independent mergers and acquisitions. Daniel Tobok, the investigator, says the attack seem to have come from computers in China. He says the hackers were "harvesting" information, and weather or not they got any sensitive information is hard to tell, but they for sure got into the system. The firms had recently been working with a Chinese company, when an e-mail came in from what seemed to be a worker from this company. The e-mail had an attachment which opened a never before seen program in the firms system. Earlier this year, other Canadian companies had been hacked, including Goggle inc., but the Chinese government says that have no involvement with any of this.

I believe that the Chinese government hasn't had anything to do with this, but it is probably some minor corporation or group who has immense technology experience and have been hacking into these systems to see how far they can go and how powerful they truly are. This is because they have a big or final goal which they will actually do damage once they are into the system. If I were the companies or firms who they have hacked, i wouldn't worry too much because if they haven't already destroyed your system, they probably wont do much damage. This doesn't mean you shouldn't still be on the lookout and shouldn't look over your security system after this passes.

Tories fall, election set for May

Tories fall, election set for May, David Akin, the Sudbury star

Prime Minister Stephen Harper finally lost the confidence of the House of Commons on Friday and will ask Gov. Gen. David Johnston Saturday morning to dissolve Parliament for a general election. Harper has been the Prime Minister of a minority Government for 5 years now and broke the record for longest time without losing a vote of confidence. "Mr. Ignatieff and his coalition partners in the NDP and Bloc Quebecois made abundantly clear that they had already decided they wanted to force an election anyways. The motion that brought the government down was not, technically, a rejection of the budget. Instead, MPs were asked if they agreed with the budget and the House lost confidence in the government." Liberals, Bloquistes and New Democrats all voted in favour (156). Conservatives and the two independent MPs, all 145, voted against. The election is set for May 2nd.

I feel that considering Harper set a record for longest time without losing a vote of confidence, this election could haunt the coalition party's. If someone breaks a record and they still only have a minority, i would be happy with that, if i were the Liberals, NDP, or Bloc. I feel that the Conservatives are going to get a Majority due to Harper success and the Coalition has made a big mistake.

A New Zealand city destroyed — and then rebuilt

A New Zealand city destroyed — and then rebuilt: Jim Byers, The Toronto star

The 7.8 magnitude quake that wreaked havoc on this seaside town on New Zealand’s North Island destroyed much of the small, innocent city. But folks from all the world heeded the call for aid, and Napier was rebuilt in astonishing time. Not only rebuilt, but rebuilt almost entirely in the architectural style of the time—Art Deco. Kathy Hill, who leads tours for the Art Deco Trust in Napier, painted a grim picture of the 1931 quake as she lead folks about the town a mere days before the Christchurch quake. “The lagoons basically rose two meters,” she said. “Millions of fish were stranded on what suddenly was dry land. Buildings collapsed. Two hundred and fifty six people died.” Many are actual Art Deco style, while others are Spanish Mission or Classical Revival. Less than 48 hours later, the world caved in on Christchurch, much as it had on Napier 80 years and 19 days before.

I think is great that the City is being rebuild and fixed up. I think it's great how fast awareness was put out, but more importantly how fast people reacted and helped out. It still think that the earthquake was terrible and probably ruined a lot of people's lives, but it's important that they stay positive and focus of the good stuff and just move forward from this.

Four Canadian schools on list of world’s best

Four Canadian schools on list of world’s best: Lesley Ciarula Taylor, The Toronto star

Judged only on reputation, Canada has captured four spots in the new Times Higher Education ranking of the world’s best. The magazine on Wednesday released its first rankings based solely on reputation, as rated by of 13,388 academics in 131 countries. The ratings are broken out of its overall rankings list, released each fall. The University of Toronto ranks as Canada’s top university by reputation, at No. 17 on the list of the top-100. It’s also No. 17 on the overall list. Three other Canadian universities made the reputation top 100, compared with only two on the master list. McGill ranked No. 29 worldwide for reputation, the University of British Columbia reached No. 31 and the University of Waterloo was 91st.

I think that this is great that Canada is getting recognised for is schools. Anyone who is affiliated with these schools or even anyone who attends these schools. I think is amazing that we have four school being ranked top 100 in the world. That these school are being judged at the international level is cool.

Hume: Oberman’s death a huge loss for city

Hume: Oberman’s death a huge loss for city: Christopher Hume, The Toronto star

Many didn't know Paul Oberman, but most know his work whether they realize or not. He was the driving force behind the brilliant renovation of the old North Toronto train station on Yonge St., better known as the Summerhill liquor store, as well as a number of heritage renovation projects around the city. Paul Oberman, but most know his work whether they realize or not. His death Monday night in a plane crash over Maine will be a huge loss in a city that places little value on its past. Where most of his fellow developers happily pay lip service to preservation, Oberman didn’t just talk the talk, he also walked the walk. Most important of all, his ability to make heritage pay for itself put the lie to an industry that rarely looks beyond the borders of its own holdings.

Even though I didn't know who Paul Oberman was before i read this article, i still feel terrible and the city of Toronto has suffered a huge lose. Read more of this article, I realise he did so much and seemed like a truly good guy. I'm sure many people who loved him and in great morning know and my sympathy goes out to them.

Habs’ Pacioretty diagnosed with concussion, cracked vertebra

Habs’ Pacioretty diagnosed with concussion, cracked vertebra: Bill Beacon, The Toronto star

Boston’s Zdeno Chara will face no further league discipline for the hit that hospitalized Montreal Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty. NHL senior vice-president Mike Murphy called the Chara hit “a hockey play that resulted in an injury because of the player colliding with the stanchion and then the ice surface.” “I could not find any evidence to suggest that, beyond this being a correct call for interference, Chara targeted the head of his opponent, left his feet or delivered the check in any other manner that could be deemed to be dangerous.” “He remains under observation in hospital. There is no other prognosis at this time,” Martin said after practice Wednesday. Murphy, who had a telephone hearing with the Bruins captain Wednesday, said he took into consideration that Chara has not been involved in a supplemental discipline incident during his 13-year NHL career.

First of all, I don't care if a player has never been in a supplemental discipline incident, If he did it, punish him, if he didn't, don't! I personally believe the league should be ashamed that they didn't fine Chara, let alone suspend him. Head shots have been a growing worry in the NHL, and people always say they need to crack down on them, and once they have this chance to make an example of Chara, they let him get away with it. Besides that i feel terrible for Pacioretty, even though i hate the Habs, and how he recovers, not to play necessarily, but to keep a healthy life.

Paris police find $25M in stolen jewels from 2008 heist in sewer

Paris police find $25M in stolen jewels from 2008 heist in sewer: Associated Press, the Toronto star

French investigators have found jewels valued at $25 million hidden in a Paris rain sewer — part of the spectacular 2008 heist from luxury jeweller Harry Winston’s Paris boutique. Nineteen rings and three set of earrings (one pair valued at $19.5 million) were dug up from a drain at a house in the Paris suburb of Seine-Saint-Denis. The jewels were hidden in a plastic container set in a cement mould inside the sewer, police said. The house belonged to one of the nine people charged in the heist. The bold Harry Winston robbery on Dec. 5, 2008, netted the thieves — some dressed as women and wearing wigs — gems and bejeweled watches worth up to $118.1 million, police said. More recently, police have set the figure at $85 million.

I think this is crazy that items with such great value could be stolen. I don't see how whoever did this thought they could get away with it. It might take a while to find them, but sooner or later someone was getting caught. I don't see what would possess a person to do this, but i guess 85 million dollars would help. Do you think the others will get caught?

TTC drivers fired for harmless cellphone use, union says

TTC drivers fired for harmless cellphone use, union says: Liem Vu, the toronto star

TTC union president Bob Kinnear is claiming that the Toronto Transit Commission is going to “ridiculous” lengths to stop drivers from using cell phones on the job, including punishment for using cell phones on their break. Kinnear sent a message to all TTC employees Sunday informing them of increasing complaints over a supposed restriction on uniformed workers using cell phones, even when not behind the wheel. He estimates that 40-50 workers are out of a job due to cell phone use. Kinnear’s message warned workers they could be fired for dialling 911, calling their spouse to say they have to work overtime or even to check up on their sick child. Ross denied some of the allegations, saying that employees would not be punished for calling 911 as long as they pulled over the vehicle.

I personally believe that this is ludicrous that bus drivers be fired from talking on the phone, while on break, not even driving the bus! I have read articles about drivers being fired for talking on the phone, while driving passengers, which i understand, but this is totally different. I agree that it is important for bus drivers not to talk while driving, but they can on break. This crazy outbreak on reported drivers is probably due to spoiled snobby city folks, who have probably done the same crime on numerous occasions.

Report of iPad delay ‘simply not true’: source

Report of iPad delay ‘simply not true’: source: Michael Lewis, the Toronto star

Speculation about delays on the release of the new apple iPhone and iPad lead to poor results for Apple Inc. Tuesday, in an edgy market Tuesday. The stock dropped more than 3 percent on the New York Stock Exchange even after Apple denied a reporter saying the new iPad’s release date would be pushed back two months to June. Sources told blog sites including Apple Insider that suggestions of an iPad delay were “simply not true,” adding that Apple is planning an event next week in San Francisco that could include the debut of the new iPad. The release date for the “iPad 2” has not been announced, but the original iPad went on sale April 2010, and the new one is expected to be released in the next two months. Shares in Apple fell on the Nasdaq after Vincent Chen of Yuanta Securities said in a note that Chinese manufacturer Hon Hai is facing delays in accommodating new iPad features, including a slimmer, lighter design, dual cameras and improved screen resolution.

I think that even though apple stocks have gone down due to iPad rumors, it will still sell very well. This is because I feel when something comes out for the first time, people tend to let the company perfect this new product. As well, a thinner iPad, with a better screen will attracted more people. I believe that even though this new iPad seems pretty much the same as the first one (with a few shinny additions) it will sell very well. If I were to buy one it wouldn’t be because of a cooler look, but a better, possibly quicker machine. I also would like to see a iPad where you can write on it with a special pen.

More than 200 dead in South Sudan ‘massacre’: officials

More than 200 dead in south Sudan 'Massacre": Officials: Jeremy Clarke, the Toronto star

Attacks by a renegade militia in Sudan's southern state of Jonglei, left 211 people dead. This violence has brought back concerns of security in the underdeveloped region, where last month an overpowering vote to declare independence from the north took place. South Sudan’s army said forces loyal to George Athor, a former army officer. This is said even after he launched a series of attacks on Jonglei last week. Two million people were killed and four million fled during the civil war fought over ideology, oil, ethnicity and religion. The fighting also set southern tribe against southern tribe, with the north backing militias from rival ethnic groups.

I find this very strange and there must be part of the story missing. I don't see how they can be loyal to him after he set a series of attacks. Besides that, I feel terrible about the number of people, many innocent and have nothing to do with it. What do you think will happen with this war?

Revealed: Hidden tribe in the Amazon

Revealed: Hidden tribe in the Amazon: Antonia Zerbisias, the toronto star

Last June, Pictures were taken, over the northwest corner of Brazil, of a uncontacted tribe, who gazed up at the helicopters above. These pictures were reaeased last week by Survival International. The peculiar result was not running around or panicing, but total calmness, just observing the chopper directly above. This is not the first time they have seen similar objects from the unknown world around them. The Brazilian govenment has been monitoring this tribe for 20 years Says Tess Thackara, spokeswoman for Survival International. She says the same tribe was pictured in some famous pictures from 2008. Reaserchers have found that these tribes know more about us then we would think, and it is their choice to stay away from the outside world. I believe if they know as much as we think they do, its a good choice to stay away from the outside world, with the wars going on, and polution leading global warming. As well many tribe close to them have been wiped out due to desease and massacres. Brazil have given permission to build dams near similar uncontacted tribe and they have had to move due to nosie and pollution. Do you think they will be pushed out due to the expansion of out world? Do you feel they are truly a peacful tribe, or are they smart enough not to "attack tanks with bow and arrows"?

Cold weather means hot business for travel industry

Cold weather means hot business for travel industry: Josh Rubin, the toronto star

Not all are suffereing from the harsh weather southern ontario has had, as airlines and travel agents serving warm and tropical locations are expected to be high in the weeks to come. Allison Wallace, travel agency spokesperson says in cold times they'll see call increase by 50 percent, and at extremly cold times like these, it could double. Ranya Bakhit, communications manager for air Canada says with the expectency of as much as 30 cetimeters, they expect bookings to be up 20 to 30 percent. I believe that Air Canada souldnt expect too big of an increase because of the random weather souther Ontario gets, it could be in the "positives" in a week. Some of the popular spots as of right now are Aruba, Jamacia, and Curacao, says sunquest vacations spokesperson, Kerry Sharpe. It is for sure that canadians looking for that week off have gone up from last year, and seem to be going up in the weeks to come. Do you think this boom in business will continue through the cold weather or stop after a while. Do you think that because so many people are taking vacaations now, business will be down for march break?

Chrysler to rethink the future of its minivans

Chrysler to rethink the future of its minivans: Dee-Ann Durbin, the globe and mail

Chrysler thinks about the future of its two mini vans, the Dodge grand caravan and the Chrysler town and country, as its starts to make the 2011 models. CEO Sergio Marchionne feels they need to rethink the minivan; keeping its funcionality, but making it much more versatile. As well he feels having two minivans in the same dealership is confusing. He says they are developing a new frame that can be used on minivans, or other kinds of vehicles. This will allow them to build smaller minivans, crossovers, or cars, depending on the demand. This is a similar approach that Ford Co. has taken, which may be a safe way to go, looking at the sucsess Ford has had. Chrysler also plans to have a hybrid minivan out by 2013. I feel the idea of a hybrid minivan is still far away, not saying they won't, but people will feel this need a few years to be perfected. Do you feel this is a good approach that Marchionne plans to make? Do you feel having to minivans is a good selection, or a confusing choice to make?

Wal-Mart is flexing its muscles

Wal-mart is flexing its muscles: by Tony Wong, the toronto star

Wal-mart has planned to open 40 new supercentres in the next year. They plan to start opening these new stores on Febuary 1st, 2011, and finish all forty by January 31st, 2012. I think this date will be very hard to accomplish this by, but I dont feel it will result in anything negative for Wal-mart. These are not just regular Wal-marts, supercentres are about 200, 000 square feet, about 120, 000 square feet larger than a regular Wal-mart. The difference not only is in size, but includes a full grocery store. This upgrade comes at a interesting time, as Target corp. has realesed that it is buying the realiter Zellers, for 1.8 billion. They estimate to take over 150 Zellers stores by 2014. Only eight of the 40 new supercentres will be new buildings, the rest being renovated existing stores. I feel although Target is new in Canada and will have to adjust to the canadian market, they still can give the powerhouse, Wal-mart, some pressure. How do you think Wal-mart will take this news of a competitor moving in? Do you think Target can give Wal-mart pressure, or even match it in the future?
